Michelle Feeney, LCSW is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with her undergraduate and graduate degrees from Dartmouth College and Columbia University. Prior to Joining the Treatment Center for Children and Families, Michelle worked at Silver Hill Hospital in the Chemical Dependency, Dual Diagnosis, and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) treatment programs. Additionally, Michelle was the Assistant Director of Prospects Extended Day Treatment (EDT) program (Mid-Fairfield Child Guidance Center) providing play therapy, parent guidance and family therapy. Michelle�s clinical background provides diagnostic experience with the following DSMIV diagnoses for both children and adults: Depressive Disorder, Anxiety Disorder, Bipolar Disorder, Pervasive Developmental Disorder (PDD), Aspergers, Obsessive Compulsive Disorder, Adjustment Disorder, Attention Deficit and Disruptive Behavior Disorders, Chemical Abuse, and Chemical Dependency.
Michelle combines her clinical foundation with principals of meditation and mindfulness. This technique helps patients develop skills across important areas of emotional and behavioral functioning. Michelle provides psychotherapy for children, teens, and adults.
